SEIRETSU FSM — Interactive Prototype

A clickable walkthrough of the Field Service Automation platform defined in SEIRETSU-SPEC-001. Every screen here traces back to a requirement in the specification (Part I PDD · Part II FDD). Use the sidebar to move between modules, and keep Guide Mode on to see what each screen demonstrates and which spec requirements it covers.

How to use this prototype

  1. Navigate with the sidebar. Screens are grouped the same way as the spec's module map — Engagement, Core Operations, Field, Intelligence.
  2. Keep Guide Mode on (top-right toggle). A panel on the right explains each screen in plain language: who uses it, what problem it solves, what to look at.
  3. Watch for the dark code chips like FR-SCH-003 next to UI elements. Each one is a requirement ID from the specification — proof that the screen implements the documented scope, nothing invented.
  4. Follow the story. The demo data tells one continuous story: a chiller fault at Harbourview Galleria travels from WhatsApp intake → case → work order → dispatch → technician's phone → billing.
  5. This is a prototype. Data is fictional and static; buttons demonstrate flow, not live logic. It exists to validate scope and design direction before build.

The story running through the demo

Meridian Facility Services is a fictional multi-trade contractor (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fiber) operating in Florida, USA and Kingston, Jamaica — chosen deliberately to exercise the spec's multi-country requirements (FR-LOC-*).

On the morning of the demo, the rooftop chiller at Harbourview Galleria (a contracted P1 site) reports abnormal vibration via IoT, while the facilities manager also reports it on WhatsApp. You can follow that single event through every screen: duplicate detection merges the two intakes, the SLA clock starts, assisted scheduling picks the right certified technician, the job completes offline on a phone, and the billable lines land in the ERP hand-off queue.

What this prototype is — and is not

✓ It is
A pre-sales design artifact validating the scope in SEIRETSU-SPEC-001 Parts I–II. A shared vocabulary for requirement workshops. A demonstration of the platform's UX direction across all 14 functional modules (13 shown, admin stubbed).
✗ It is not
A working system. No real data, integrations, offline sync, or scheduling engine. Build effort for the production MVP is scoped and priced separately under a formal SOW. Items marked [ASSUMPTION] in the spec remain unvalidated until workshops.

Why this screen matters

The spec's pain point #5: "technicians lack real-time job detail in the field." The day list is prioritised for the technician (SLA-urgent first), with one-tap navigation and accept/decline routed back to the dispatcher. Every status change (Travel → Arrive → Start → Complete) is stamped with time + GPS automatically — labour time is derived, not typed. FR-MOB-005/010

Offline-first is a hard requirement

Constraint C2 in the spec: field connectivity is intermittent, so offline capability is not an enhancement — it's foundational. Target: ≥72 h fully offline, full sync ≤2 min after an 8-hour shift (NFR-07/08). Conflicts are field-level merged; anything overlapping goes to a visible conflict queue — never silently overwritten. The completion gate, enforced on device

The Complete button stays locked until every mandatory checklist item, parts consumption, labour and signature are captured — the same server-side rule (BR-13) mirrored in the field. If the customer is unavailable, the technician takes the No-Access exception path, which requires a reason code and supervisor approval. FR-WOM-007

What happens on reconnect

The 3 queued mutations (readings, photo, parts) sync in order with idempotency keys. Non-conflicting fields merge automatically; a clash (e.g. dispatcher moved the booking meanwhile) lands in the technician's conflict queue. Photos upload separately, chunked and resumable, so a big file never blocks the work order advancing. UC-03

Follow-on work

If it can't be fixed this visit (part not on van, specialist needed), the technician raises a follow-on WO from the field — diagnosis carries forward, parent–child linked, and the visit still counts honestly in FTFR analytics. FR-MOB-012
